Queen of Puck 2017

My name is Caitlin Horgan.

I am twelve years old. I will be thirteen in October. I go to Scoil Mhuire, Killorglin. I have three sisters, Sophianne who is nineteen years old, Sinead who is sixteen years old and Ciara who is fourteen years old. My Dad’s name is Eugene. My Mom’s name is Helen. We live one mile from Killorglin on my Uncle Mickey’s farm. So every year we walk to Puck Fair.

I think it is really important to be involved in your community. Every Sunday I altar serve at Mass in St.James Church. This year I was in the pantomime, Robin Hood. I was part of the cutest kiddies and I really enjoyed it.

When I am older I wish to be a Forensic Scientist because I am really interested in studying Law and Forensics. I also play for Laune Rangers football team.

I think Killorglin is a beautiful town, with the River Laune running through it and because it’s on a hill, it is a very picturesque town.

I would be so grateful to be chosen as the Queen of Puck Fair. My sisters would be especially proud of me. My sister Sophianne in 2009 was Lady in Waiting so I would love to be the first of my sisters to be crowned Queen of Puck.

I would love to be chosen for Queen of Puck because it would be a great honour to me and my family.

Thank you

Caitlin Horgan.
