Queen of Puck 2018

My name is Ella Foley.

I come from Caragh Lake, just outside Killorglin. I am 12 years old and currently attending Glounaguillach N.S. My parents, Karen and Anthony, both come from big families and it has always been a tradition for us to meet up and enjoy the music and atmosphere at puck fair. I have a sister Sadhbh and a brother Odhran.

I love spending time with my two dogs, Teddy who’s a red retriever and Milo is a Bichon Frise. I love trying to train Teddy to do new tricks. Some things I like to do are play piano, play guitar, play football, and gymnastics. My favourite subject in school is science as I love to learn about animals and I hope to be a vet when I’m older.

The reason I would be honoured to be 2018’s Queen of Puck is it would give me and my family great pride and I have watched the parade every year and wondered what it would be like to be the Queen, crowning the King in what is Ireland’s oldest fair.

I will definitely be at Puck Fair on the 10th,11th and 12th of August, but it would be really special to be there as Queen.

Thank you

Puck Fair needs your help!

Pardon the interruption, but we really do need your help!

Costs are rising, particularly where insurance and medical cover is concerned.  We need your support to ensure this famous festival can continue to be held each year.

All contributions raised through this campaign will go directly to the fair and will be used to offset some of the spiralling costs. .

In return for your contribution, your name (should you choose to provide it) will go on to our donor’s wall of fame for all the world to see!
